The Color of Hope

I took this photo while visiting the Hiroshima Memorial Museum near the statue of Sadako Sasaki (1000 Paper Cranes).

Out of the whole museum, there were two things that gave me hope for the future (of peace): 1) the monthly written requests of disarmament of nuclear weapons in both Japan and the whole world, and 2) the glass cases upon cases of paper cranes made by the children from the Hiroshima school system.

I hope this picture fills you with the happiness and the hope that that it did me when I saw the paper cranes in real life.
